Burning Crusade breaks records, banks

The World of Warcraft expansion pack, Burning Crusade, has sold more copies than any other PC title over a one month period. It's so far sold 3.5 million copies across Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand... and it hasn't even hit the shelves in China yet - perhaps in an attempt to save them from themselves.

The lucrative title has boosted publisher Vivendi Games' revenue 117% on last year. Who says PC games are a dying breed?
