World of WarCraft players finally stop playing in order to draw... comics about World of WarCraft



That's May's winning comic at the World of WarCraft community comics archive. I like it because it follows a theme I've written about before - the difference between MMORPG avatars and the players behind them.

You can view the competition's honorable mentions too, and follow the links to look through the other hundred-something comics they've got.

There are draw-backs to a game having 8 million subscribers world-wide. There are also positives, and having a huge pool of talented users willing to make creative works is one of them.
